And here’s the anticipated second installment of the prom belles:
First, we have Paula Villaranda:
When I saw this photo of Paula (my student last summer na inilipat ko ng upuan kasi nakikipagdaldalan sa katabi niyang si Archie), I swear I did not recognize her! Paula, you’re so pretty here!!! Her dress is really nice, no? Fitted bodice and balloon-y skirt. And, in fairness, bagay ang shoes! I so admire ladies who don’t say “Bahala na” when it comes to footwear. Plus, the minimal accessories. I love, love the styling and the make-up. Thumbs up, Paula!
And we have Roxanne Lescano here, looking like a dainty princess with her Prince Charming, thanks to the gathered fabric of her skirt. I am guessing that the fabric of her gown is either satin, chameleon or rich silk. Roxanne truly looked sweet in this outfit, with matching demure smile pa.
Denise Regala here really looks like she’s going to a dance to have a swell time! She looks like a Spanish senorita who plans to dance the night away! The fringe-y skirt is risque, no? Good thing her legs are flawless! But if we go past her lower half, we’d see and appreciate the intricate bead work of her bodice. And may I just say that I loooove the curls? By the way, Denise told me she was best dressed on their prom.
But wait, there’s another one!!!
I know that I am supposed to just feature the gowns used in this years’s JS prom. But when Denise also sent me her JS prom picture last year, my jaw dropped. O.M.G. Para siyang a-attend ng Hollywood event! Look at the bodice–I’m sure the beadword was done excellently! And, take note, the beads did not bulk her bodice, plus the color combo was just perfect! Initially, I thought that the violet “X” in the bodice could have been removed because the bodice with the beadwork was already stunning, but then I realized that the “X” emphasized Denise’s figure–made her already-narrow waist look even narrower. And now, let’s proceed to the skirt…again, ang ganda ng pleats at ng bagsak! I must say, hats off to the designer/seamstress! Pulidong gumawa! The designer/seamstress took precise measurements and knew which kinds of fabric to use. Then the gloves added extra elegance! And to perfect the look, Denise opted not to wear necklace, just a pair of medium-sized earrings, which, in my humble opinion, made the look classier. By the way, she also won best dressed last year when she wore this. And she super deserved it!
These are all for now.
Again, I am still accepting photos of your prom pictures to be featured here on MomsterTeacher. Just submit your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you want to add additional kuwento about your gowns (designer, inspiration, awards received, etc.), I’d love to hear it (actually I prefer that you give me details para hindi ako mahirapan mag-describe-describe!)
