Continued from MomsterTeacher’s Prom Belles 2012 Part 2!
Pardon my long blogging hiatus! It’s just that, with everything that happened in Los Banos, it just felt wrong for me to dabble in my usual shallowness. I am glad to say that my posts about Rochel “Cesil” Geronda reached so many people who did/are doing/are going to do something. Aside from that, notice to that I have transferred to my new home! I am currently communicating with an awesome blog designer–after about two weeks, the customized design of this blog is going to be awesome!
Anyway, weeks have passed and I guess I could return to being, well, the usual MomsterTeacher…this time, here’s the anticipated Part 3 of our Prom Belles (my first post here on my new home!!!)
Let’s begin with Bea Abello:
Whoever said that you need to wear a long gown to cinch the throne deal?!? Well, if you’ve got mile-long, slim legs like Bea, getting the title is a done deal with a short, ballerina-esque gown skirt, with golden flat slippers to match! Gawd I envy her–she pulled off wearing a short gown AND flat shoes AND won prom queen! Of course, if you’re as tall and as slim as Bea, you could actually pull this off!
But who says you have to be model-thin to shine in gold?!? Looking at Mary Rose Hemedes below, you’d see that curves deserve raves!
I love, love Mary Rose’s gold gown! The bodice fit nicely, and it is simple…just perfect because her waist was cinched by a nicely-ruched fabric with a ribbon of just the right size! Then look at her balloon skirt, with dainty patterns. And then Mary Rose’s face…ahhh, reminds me of old Hollywood glam! This photo of Mary Rose would give Marilyn Monroe a run for her money!
From gold, we go to lavender!
The sirens would have sung praises had they seen Junella Royo wearing a mermaid-cut gown, using three kinds of fabric: black illusion tulle to make her top sexy-conservative, lavender chiffon that ruched in the right places, and two-tone taffeta for the “mermaid tail”. You can see that Junella accessorized very minimally, and I guess I know why: her best accessory is her pretty, pretty face with that pretty, pretty smile. 🙂
Speaking of pretty, here’s another pretty lass in a sliver/gray/white gown!
Guys and gals, meet Chiki Gonzales. Too bad the resolution of the picture she set was low, thus I can’t enlarge it. But even with this tiny photo, you’d see how lovely she was on her prom! Upon seeing her, first thing that entered my mind was the word: FLOWY. Everything about her looked light and natural–from her cascading tresses to her unhinged waist! She looked very casual and relaxed, as if this prom was no big deal, and she was just being her usual pretty self!
And now let’s proceed to Czar Angulo, the Prom Queen of St. Scholastica’s Westgrove:
Czar: the name alone exudes “royalty”, as if her parents knew that their daughter will rule over a sea of well-dressed young ladies come her prom! How did she garner the prom queen title? Let’s see. Sexy yet decent bodice made of illusion tulle, check! Intricate yet neat beadwork, check! Simple yet elegant chiffon skirt, check! But wait–there’s more: the back, bey-beh! The back. Beginning from the chic braided updo to the oooh-la-la back!
I have more prom belles to feature, but my Krabito is now here! More lovely ladies soon, so always tune in to MomsterTeacher!
Tell me what you think!
