Yesterday, Raviv attended the first ever kid’s birthday party he was invited to: Uno’s Jollibee kiddie party. Uno, who turned two years old, belongs to Raviv and Yoona’s UPLB field clique (that is, mga nakilala nina Yaya Isay and Yaya Tet sa UP field).
I have actually written about them in one of my earlier posts.
The party was held at Jollibee Paseo de Sta. Rosa. It’s quite far from our place, but since:
- Yaya Isay was so elated when she received the invitation from Uno.
- Uno’s diligently tracked down where Raviv lives just to hand out the invite (touching).
- I am also excited for Raviv to attend his first children’s party.
- Raviv has recently become fond of Jollibee (whom he calls Pooh! In fairness, medyo hawig naman sina Pooh and Jollibee ‘di ba?)
After Jollibee and Hetty danced, and after I encouraged Raviv to come near Jollibee, I believe his fear slowly went away. He actually kept pointing to Jollibee when we left the mascot’s side (you know why we had to leave Jollibee so soon? Hint: Biglang nangamoy si Raviv!)
Even it was already late when we arrived home (traffic pa rin pauwi!), I don’t regret going to Uno’s party. Just the thought of making Uno’s parents happy to see his son’s friends was more than enough (when we arrived, she asked us whether we got stuck in traffic. When we said yes, she even apologized! By the way, Uno’s mom is a medical doctor). I’m sure the kids enjoyed it too. Plus, Raviv learned some new dance moves: this morning, aba, ginagaya na ang sayaw ni Jollibee!
When I saw this feature, I knew I had to get one. These days, I am honestly having trouble wearing my old blouses/tops because I have yet to lose my puson. I never thought my pregnancy puson would stay with me this long, because I swear, I was never pusunin! Lumobo na ang hita at braso ko, but my tummy used to be almost flat all the time! I’ve already lost weight in the last two summers post-giving birth but my puson is still here, grrr! So this trend is heaven-sent: I got to be stylish without exposing my flabby tummy and flabby arms, divah!
And so I finally got to wear my kimono-style top on Uno’s party:
Kimono-style top from Jewels
Unbranded skinny jeans
Aerosoles heeled sandals
Necklace with mother-of-pearl flower-shaped pendant from one of the stalls at the basement of Festival Mall
