While Raviv advance-celebrated his birthday at school, we were in Subic on Raviv’s real birthday (December 26). The whole gang was there: my parents, my brother and his daughter Yoona, Randy’s mama, and Raviv’s yayas. Of course, I’m going to write about our Subic adventure….mmm, some time soon 🙂
Anyhoot, I don’t have a pang-wardrobe diary entry for the 26th of December because when we finally got to the condotel we were staying and Raviv was already in deep slumber, Randy and I bickered. I’ve forgotten why. So s’yempre naudlot ang photo session na supposedly sa terrace ng room namin. Sayang, as the view was superb!
The following day, I made sure Randy and I were already super-duper OK. Ergo nakapagpa-photo op ako sa kanya just before we left for Ocean Adventure. O ‘di ba, it pays to be humble to your husband. 😉
And so without further ado, here I was on December 27, 2012 just before we left for Ocean Adventure:
This dress lay in my closet for a long time. I was really saving it for a trip to the beach. I mean look at the print–pang-beach talaga ‘di ba? And I doubt my husband would have let me wear this to the mall or in any other pasyal. Why? Because Randy is manong, and this dress was backless + pluuuungiiiing ang neckline…if one has a blessed, bountiful bosom (I know, hindi ako ‘yun), luwa kung luwa ang mga “booby trap” ;). Here’s a closer look at the dress:
So how did I convince Randy to let me wear this? First, we were on a holiday and we were going to the beach (‘di ba beachside naman ang Ocean Adventure?)–it was but fitting to wear such dress. Second, I sewed a cloth along the neckline to hide the kagat ng langgam mounds that grew from my chest. And third, my super long hair covered my back. Let me emphasize that for the record, conservative lang si Randy kaya ko tinakpan ang likod ko–it’s not because I had bacne. In fairness, makinis likod ko kahit may taba-taba na. 😉
Anyway, here’s a collage of a closer look at the rest of the details:
- Dress from ukay
- Wide-brimmed abaca hat from Baguio market
- “Cherifer” wedge sandals (Gets? Kasi “tangkad sagad” ang wearer ng sandals na ‘to!) from Liliw
- Leather bag from Staccato
Yes, cheappangga outfit ito! Excluding the bag the whole ensemble costs less than a thousand bucks 🙂 Pluuuus, when Randy posted my picture in this ensemble, my friend Khris Callano messaged me this on Facebook:
hi ate DEW!!!
pumayat ka daw sabi ni nanay..hehehe..anu daw ginawa mo??? ;))
O ‘di ba? To think I replaced exercising with eating almost all whole December. 😉
And before I go, I’d like to share with you guys this photo of the three of us looking at the myriad bats in Subic. This was taken when we did a stopover at the bat kingdom on the way to Ocean Adventure.
Wala lang, the photo just made me smile and made me want to thank God for giving me the best boys a maarte girl like could ever have.
Ay, ‘yung father-son tandem lang pala nakatingin, hihi.
Tell me what you think!
