Here I go again– another super late post! Just a few days before Valentine’s Day I am posting what Raviv wore on New Year’s Eve. But in fairness to me, Raviv is part-Chinese and hey, kaka-Chinese New Year lang! 😉
I no longer labeled this as a guest fashionista post because Raviv is going to be a mainstay. Much to my delight, I think my son is learning the rudiments of power dressing. He is now also open to accessorizing–so much that he always wants to wear his fedora hat and sunnies!
In fact, Yaya Isay reported that during his class’ walking trip to the IRRI Musuem theater, he still refused to remove his sunnies!
Yaya Isay: Nauntog-untog pa ‘yang si Binggol, Nanay kasi ang dilim-dilim naka-shades pa rin!
Randy’s afraid Raviv might grow up vain. Actually, that thought is also nagging at the back of my mind. Arte as I am, I do no want my son to be vain. Keribels lang kung girl siya. But not boys. I remember getting turned off when I saw the guy I used to date checking his reflection every time we pass by a mirror. I also felt weird when I saw him slathering Pond’s moisturizer to his smooth, rosy white complexion. I don’t want the same thing to happen to my Raviv, por favor! But I told Randy not to worry, because as soon as he will be accepted I will enroll him in soccer classes. I think that will balance it. 🙂 But for the meantime, he will have to be one of the most fasyon little boys around. And getting him en vogue is pretty difficult! It’s easy to do to little girls but not to little boys! A mom has to be creative.
And now enough with the explaining. Lemme now present to you Ravivo aka Binggolino aka Bingoli aka Bing-Bing on New Year’s Eve:
So what was Raviv wearing?
- Abaca fedora hat from SM Department Store
- Blue polo from Gingersnaps
- Khaki pants from Tommy Hilfiger
- Green and white striped belt from Rustan’s Jr. (this actually came with a pair of Rustan’s Jr. pants I bought)
- Brown ankle boots from Chicco
- Sunnies from SM Department Store
…and cuteness from the genes of Nanay Dew and Tatay Randy! 🙂
Tell me what you think!
