I heart Tagaytay City. My husband and I do. And how could we not? Cool breeze + scenic views + fresh fruits = pure bliss! In fact, it was where he wanted us to spend this year’s Valentine’s (just like Maja Salvador + Gerald Anderson; Billy Crawford + Nikki Gil, and Jericho Rosales + Kim Jones—yes, updated ako!). Again (it’s where we had our awesome V-Day celebration last year). And I was tempted to relent, if not for the fact that I’ve just basked in Tagaytay’s glory last February 9.
So what was I doing in the romantic, picturesque Tagaytay City sans hubby? I was invited by Nuffnang and Ayala Land to visit the site where Asilo Tagaytay—Avida’s first residential retreat—is going to be built.
Before I headed to Tagaytay City, I met other bloggers at the Avida Showroom in Alabang. The showroom by the way is just across the theater entrance of Alabang Town Center. There we learned the wonderful plans Ayala Land has in store for Asilo. I am really psyched about this—I’m sure it’s going to be one helluva shopping, leisure, recreational and vacation home complex!
We were told that the name “Asilo” was derived from the Tagalog term “silong” which means to take shelter. Well, Avida wants to make sure that the condominiums of Asilo won’t just give shelter physically (as in just a roof above one’s head), but shelter as in a place of haven. In fact, we heard through the grapevine that even the top honchos of Ayala Land are very involved with this project. Like everyone else, I guess they want to make sure that the old Tagaytay charm will not be compromised by building claustrophobic skyscrapers that make you feel as though you are still in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Metro!
Asilo Tagaytay features two mid-rise residential towers and a low-rise building whose units will be more spacious than those in urban areas. Balconies will also abound so residents can relax themselves with the spectacular views of Taal Volcano and the Batangas mountain range.
They too will take the extra mile to make one’s staycation convenient—Ayala Malls will be building a community mall adjacent to the Asilo residential condominiums! Emphasis on the word “community”, because many of the mall tenants would be local business folks!
Let’s take a look at its development overview:
If you’re looking for a second home, a vacation home, or an investment you could lease, Asilo is arguably your best bet! You may be an Asilo unit owner for as low as 2 million pesosesosesoses! Unit floor areas range from 22 to 80 square meters.
