I fell in love with this green Giordano long-sleeved top ever since I laid eyes on them.
Raviv was barely a year old then, but I loved it so much that I just had to buy it even though I knew it’d be a long time before Raviv could wear it. And it was on super sale. 😉
Before I knew it, kasya na!!! However, Raviv sweats so quickly that I don’t dare make him wear anything long sleeved! Eto ha, I used to wonder why Raviv would turn up at our feet at night whenever we slept. And then it dawned on me: asa paanan namin nakatutok ang electric fan. And when our aircon’s timer goes off, Raviv would want his body directly at the fan! Even during the time that binagyo kami sa Baguio, Raviv still sweat!
So I had to wait for an opportunity for Raviv to wear this comfortably. Ayoko namang japorms nga, init na int naman ang bebe ko. I was starting to fear that Raviv will grow out of it, because Raviv grows up like a mushroom! Ambilis!!!
So one cold rainy day, I grabbed the perfect opportunity na ito ang i-outfit ni Ravivee. And wouldn’t you know it, bagay na bagay!!! Here’s my little boy before going to school:
Adorable, ain’t he? 🙂
Here’s a closer look at his outfit:
- brown newsboy cap from SM Dept. Store
- Giordano Jr. long-sleeved green polo shirt
- Levi Strauss Signature blue and white pinstriped denims
- brown, plaid Smartfit for Payless sneakers
By the way, the title of this post is “Raviv on a Raviv-y Day” because “raviv” is actually Hebrew for rain or dew or dewdrop. Hence we thought the name Raviv is perfect for our little boy: RAiN-DY + DEWmaine = RAVIV. So it’s like he’s really our mini-me. 🙂
Tell me what you think!
