continued from Wardrobe Diary #43.1 : The English Garden Love (July 7, 2013)
Once we have checked in to our hotel room, we immediately got dressed to proceed to Sonya’s Garden where the wedding reception was to be held.
And here I was:
Here’s a closer look at the details:
- Earrings from Forever 21
- Chain bag (which can be a clutch) from The Sak
- Unbranded dress with vintage swirls from ukay
- Cream peep-toe high heels from Aldo
Anyway, Cameron and Rachel’s Philippine reception was short, simple and sweet. It was only intimate, as there were only about 30 of us. Rachel said that our group were among the closest to her heart; she wanted to invite more of her friends yet she didn’t want to overwhelm Cameron so she had to narrow down her guest list to that few.
Before our delicious dinner, there was a short game that basically tested how much we guests knew the couple. I am proud to say that I almost won!
During dinner when Rachel approached our table, I hugged her so hard because I missed her a lot! FYI, Rachel used to be our ampon—she used to sleep at our place or drop by for no reason at all. And she and I used to talk until past midnight even after a grueling day. (Awww Rach, mishu so much!!!)

As much as Randy and I wanted to stay even longer, we had to rush out because we left Raviv and his Yaya Gigi at Tagaytay Crosswinds without dinner. Unfortunately, Crosswinds had no in-house restaurant. We instructed Gigi to order from Jollibee for their dinner, but she reported it was so hard to get through, eh naka-cellphone lang! So we really had to get going even though I wanted to catch-up with Rach more and go around Sonya’s more.
This outfit of the day post is still “English Garden Love” because:
1. English Garden = We went to Sonya’s Garden, which is an English garden.
2. Love = we are attending the wedding of two people so much in love, and I am attending this celebration of love with my most beloved. 🙂
Tell me what you think!
