Before you hyperventilate and think Raviv is already a full-fledged mow-del, maghunus–dili muna tayo. Hindi pa po. Although it is not bad to hope and wish that someday, he might be. Kahit model lang ng Boy Bawang, keri na. Si Daniel Padilla nga ‘di ba, Lily’s Peanut Butter. Hukhukhuk.

But in fairness, Lily’s Peanut Butter is yummy.
Now let’s get back to Raviv. As I’ve mentioned on my previous post, we went to Makati two Fridays ago to update his portfolio. See, Raviv has been with a modelling agency since before he was one year old.
But modelling projects are scarce for babies or toddlers kids this young. In fact, we got summoned only once, for a diaper commercial. And since we were never asked to return, we surmised some other child was picked. I was actually waiting for a new diaper commercial months after Raviv’s audition to see who got picked instead of Raviv, but I didn’t see any new diaper commercials.
Early this year, I received calls and text messages from his agency to update his portfolio because his looks have definitely changed. But his agency also asked this: Kumpleto pa po ba ang ngipn ni Raviv? Why of course! I’m very OC about cleaning his teeth at least 2x a day. 🙂
Because his agency is in Makati and we live down south, I kept on postponing his VTR and photoshoot updates. But an opportunity arose two Fridays ago that we were able to go to Raviv’s agency. With us were Randy’s friend, Hernan Anonuevo and Raviv’s Yaya Gigi.
When we arrived at the agency as we were removing Raviv from his car seat…
Yaya Gigi: Raviv, naku Raviv! ‘Wag kang ma-stress ha? ‘Wag kang kabahan! Kaya mo ‘yang photoshoot mo
Me: Tingnan mo nga si Raviv Gigi! Wala namang paki ‘yan! Ikaw ‘ata ang ninenerbiyos at stressed eh!
Yaya Gigi: Ay oo nga Ma’am!
It was a good thing Randy’s friend Hernan Anonuevo was with us, and Hernan was very diligent in taking photos. So while the people from Raviv’s agency were taking his photos, Hernan was taking Raviv’s photos too!
At first, Raviv was very shy that I had to go with him and cajole him.
Me: Naku, sasabihin n’ya s’ya si Peter Parker…
And when Raviv remembered he’s Peter Parker…
And then he climbed up the ramp and slid down nang paulit-ulit. Tuloy…
Mwahahaha! Anyway the talent scout asked me to update my portfolio too. Yes, my portfolio. Mwihihihi. But I’ll kwento about that in a later post. Balik tayo kay Raviv.
After my own VTR and photoshoot, I called Raviv again. I thought that since he saw me smile and all in front of the camera, it might be easier to make him smile and all.
And I was right! Look:
Ampogi-pogi ni Raviv ‘di baaa?!? Sana magkaro’n ng ad na kelangan ng chinito boy. 🙂
If ever Raviv gets a modelling project, thank you Lord. If not, thank you Lord pa rin because I still have this cutie-patootie boy.
