My Valentine’s date story hasn’t ended yet!!! So please, please allow me to relish my Valentine’s date. But before that, let me show you first my Valentine’s Day outfit:
Here I was by our hotel room door at Acacia Hotel before having breakfast:
And here I was at the Acaci Restaurant after a very satisfying breakfast:
Sequined shift dress: Culte Femme
Bag: Marc Jacobs Stam
Ballet flats: Yosi Samra
You know, I had second thoughts about wearing a shift dress because shift dresses tend to make me shapeless. And looking at the photos above, medyo nga. But this Culte Femme dress looked and felt so good to wear that I took the risk. Besides, the fact that its waist wasn’t cinched was perfect because I planned to eat a lot. 😉
Anyway, back to our date. So Randy and I had a scrumptious buffet breakfast at Acaci Restaurant. That’s part of our Valentine’s package at Acacia Hotel.
Randy said that it was the best buffet breakfast we’ve had recently, and I agree! Its beef tapa was the best-tasting beef tapa I’ve ever tasted…olats na olats ‘yung super expensive beef tapa ng Breakfast at Antonio’s!
My first plate, with the best-tasting beef tapa ever!
My desserts…yes, I consider sushi as dessert. Hehe
Randy enjoying his breakfast…he said everything on his plate was really delicious!
My loud musing over breakfast: Babe, kelan kaya darating ‘yung time na hindi na tayo magiging excited sa buffet breakfast ng hotel? Tamo ‘yung babae o, coffee at bread lang.
Until now, I don’t think I could ever imagine myself being the dainty eater I should be. I’m the kind of girl who will turn off any gentleman with the way I eat…I’m a lafang kung lafang kind of girl, that even construction workers and Randy’s friends laugh at me when I eat. My friends also tell me that with my appetite, hindi raw bagay sa akin ang designer bags. Pang-Secosana lang daw ako. LOL! But whatever. I love food and designer bags, walang batas na nagsasabing one or the other lang!
Isa pa: my photos suck because I was kinda shy taking pictures of everything…no else was doing it! Baka sabihin pa ng mga real alta sa Acacia, I’m such a strikesoil (strike=hampas; soil=lupa) na first time sa hotel. But the truth was, I was only taking photos for you, my dear readers. Malakas kayo eh!
After breakfast, we checked out and proceeded to Sta. Rosa. Even though it was fun to be alone together, we also missed our amorcito.
In the afternoon, we went to Nuvali with our other loves: Raviv and Randy’s two other babies, his bullmastiffs!
Of course, nag-change outfit na ako.
Which pairing wins lovebirds–errr–“lovemammals” of this year’s Valentine’s?
A. Randy & Dew
B. Drogo & Khaleesi
C. Randy & Khaleesi
D. Drogo & Dew
Our dogs also got a lot of love from other people! Talo pa ang artista sa dami nang nagpa-picture!
Like what I said, there wasn’t anything fancy about our Valentine’s dates. But I was immensely happy because I got to spend it with the people nearest and dearest to my heart. I had some alone time with my forever Valentino (and we ate lots of food, hohoho!), and then later our amorcito joined us.
What more could I have asked for a Valentine’s Day? Hmm…maybe buffet dinner. Hahaha!
God is good, and God is love. I thank God for a wonderful Valentine’s weekend date!
Tell me what you think!
